The European Parliament Office and European Commission Representation in Slovakia will relocate to a new European House on Hurbanovo Square in Bratislava by early 2027. The refurbished “Veľký Baťa” building will include an interactive center, Europa Experience, offering EU-themed events and educational activities. A simulation room for parliamentary debates—aimed mainly at students—will be located underground. The move from rented offices on Palisády is seen as more cost-effective, offering more space in a better location. The building was selected from 18 evaluated properties based on size, accessibility, and transport connections.
