The Slovak government has approved a pay rise for education workers. Teachers and specialists will see a 7% base salary increase in September, followed by an additional 5% hike in January. A performance-based bonus system will also be introduced, providing an average 2% additional increase based on performance. University teachers, researchers, and ministry staff will receive similar increases, while non-teaching staff will have a new pay scale.
