Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico will meet Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán on Monday (April 28) during Orbán’s official visit to Slovakia. Discussions are set to cover potential cooperation in the energy sector and measures to prevent illegal migration, according to the Government Office’s press department.
"The Slovak premier, along with his Hungarian counterpart, will discuss the development of bilateral relations and will also address the economic and geopolitical challenges currently facing the European Union," stated the Government Office. Fico and Orbán will also focus on the EU's long-term budget, opportunities for cooperation in energy, and measures to prevent illegal migration.
Fico will welcome Orbán at the Government Office in Bratislava on Monday afternoon, with a joint press conference also scheduled.
