The Slovak Embassy in Vienna has not yet received any requests for assistance regarding the detention of a 20-year-old Slovak citizen. The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs (MFEA) confirmed that they are monitoring the situation and are prepared to provide consular support if needed. The Slovak citizen was detained in connection with a terrorist cell under investigation for a foiled attack on a Taylor Swift concert in Vienna. The individual, suspected of ties to the Islamic State group, was reportedly in contact with two others planning multiple attacks in 2024.
