President Peter Pellegrini has ratified the framework agreement between the European Union and Malaysia, aimed at fostering broader cooperation across various sectors. The agreement, ratified on April 16, establishes a comprehensive partnership covering areas such as trade, justice, climate change, energy, and education.
The agreement also focuses on protecting EU financial interests and paves the way for a future free trade deal. Pellegrini hailed the agreement as a significant step in strengthening Slovakia’s ties with Malaysia and deepening regional and global cooperation between the two partners.
