Police are investigating the circumstances of an apartment fire on Obchodná Street in central Bratislava, in which the body of a 25 year old woman was found. The fire occurred at dawn on Wednesday morning with firefighters in attendance.
After the blaze was brought under control, the apartment was inspected with rescuers locating the body of a 25 year woman with no signs of life. The spokesman of the Regional Police Headquarters in Bratislava Michal Szeiff, announced that an autopsy will take place to determine the exact cause and circumstances of the woman’s death, with the potential for it to be murder. However due to an investigation being underway, police were unable to provide more details about the case.
