President Peter Pellegrini emphasized the need for greater use of AI in government, especially in state management, to improve efficiency in budget use and monitor the legislative process. He announced that the President's Office is piloting AI tools for energy consumption management and legislative monitoring.
Pellegrini praised the private sector's progress in AI and noted that AI and automation could help address labour shortages. He plans to host a roundtable on AI, focusing on its potential in sectors like healthcare and education. Despite not being a leader in AI research, he believes Slovakia can advance by adopting modern technologies across various sectors.
