Ukraine insists that Slovakia begins a so-called 'large reverse gas flow', said the head of Ukrainian concern Naftogaz, Andriy Kobolyev, when speaking at the Central European Energy Conference CEEC 2014 in Bratislava on Monday.
"We believe that there's a potential to remove the 'narrowness' that is represented by the absence of a full-fledged two-way connection between Ukraine and Slovakia”, said Kobolyev. According to the Naftogaz head, the existing agreements between Ukraine, Russia and Slovakia should be changed. "We realise that this isn't in [Russian supplier] Gazprom's interests, however”, he said.
