Slovak and the Czech Defence Ministers, Robert Kaliňák and Jana Černochová, agreed on the importance of supporting the defence capability of both nations and the broader European region. This was discussed during Černochová's visit to the Lešť military training area on Monday, April 7. The ministers highlighted their shared history, strong mutual relations, and common defence goals. Currently, nearly 200 Czech soldiers are stationed at the Lešť training area as part of the NATO Multinational Brigade, alongside forces from Spain, Portugal and USA among others.
