Slovakia is hosting a work-study visit for 16 employees from the European Commission to strengthen EU cooperation. The visit, held from April 7–9, includes meetings with government officials and visits to key institutions like the National Bank of Slovakia and the Slovak Academy of Sciences. Marek Eštok, Secretary of State at the Foreign Ministry, welcomed the group and emphasized Slovakia’s commitment to the EU, highlighting the country’s role within the Eurozone and Schengen Area. Participants will gain insight into Slovakia’s political, economic, and cultural structures.
