Prime Minister Róbert Fico on the news channel TA3’s political show on Sunday stated that a small helicopter with a camera is constantly snooping on his private flat in the Bonaparte housing complex in Bratislava.
“I live on the third floor, and a small helicopter with a little camera is flying around regularly, looking into my flat. Do they want to see me in my underwear?” he asked. According to Fico, there was also similar surveillance activities aimed at the former parliament chair Pavol Paška. Moreover, he also commented on Paška's resignation a week ago, which was allegedly motivated by the need to protect his family. “Only human hyenas can organize protests in front of politicians' houses,” added Fico addressing the opposition MPs who have initiated some of the protests.
