Banská Bystrica regional prosecutor Jessy Hassan has been found dead, confirmed Prosecutor General Maros Zilinka, who expressed condolences to the family.
Banská Bystrica police spokesperson Petra Kováčiková stated that a man with a gunshot wound was discovered in Banská Bystrica on Saturday, March 29. An autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death, and a manslaughter investigation has been launched. Due to the sensitivity of the case, no further details will be provided.
TV JOJ and Plus 7 Dni were the first to report that Hassan’s body was found in a car in a Banská Bystrica meadow, with a gun next to him.
