Foreign Minister in Bulgaria also on its Eurozone ambitions

Foreign Minister Juraj Blanár (Smer-SD) left for Bulgaria, where he's slated to hold bilateral talks with his Bulgarian counterpart George Georgiev on Monday (March 24). The talks will revolve around the strengthening of Slovak-Bulgarian ties, Bulgaria's joining of the Eurozone, domestic reform as well as the EU's multi-year financial framework. Also discussed were European security and defence and the war in Ukraine.

In addition, Blanár was scheduled to meet Bulgarian President Rumen Radev and discuss the bolstering of European security and defence policy, the enlargement of the EU, and the development of cooperation in defence and economy.
