New ambassadors present credentials to President

On Tuesday, President Peter Pellegrini received credentials from six new ambassadors to Slovakia.

Pellegrini received new Dutch Ambassador Jules Gerson at the Presidential Palace. "Bilateral relations between the countries are primarily dominated by the economic aspect, with the Netherlands being one of the most significant investors in Slovakia. The new role of the ambassador, for whom this is his first diplomatic post, is to continue developing this cooperation," said the President’s office. The head of state wished the new Dutch ambassador successful projects and investments that would strengthen relations between the two countries.

The other new ambassadors received at the audience with the president were Bakhtiyor Ibragimov (Uzbekistan), Mohammad Kamran Akhtar Malik (Pakistan), Victoria Rosa (Moldova), Jose Antonio Zabalgoitia Trejo (Mexico), and Andrew Rive Williams (New Zealand).
