Boosting their cooperation in the fight against tax and customs duty evasion, the Slovak Financial Directorate and the Czech General Financial Directorate signed an agreement in Bratislava on Thursday on direct exchanges of information on value added tax.
“Groups of tax fraudsters share tax-related information between our countries. They share their experiences concerning the best way of doing things, and we’re also obliged to cooperate and share information,” said Slovak Finance Minister Peter Kažimír, adding that the financial directorates should fight for every euro and Czech crown for the sake of the public finances.
