President Peter Pellegrini assured that neither coalition leaders nor the KDH opposition party seek Slovakia's exit from the EU or NATO, dismissing it as an irrelevant reason behind recent protests. After President Pellegrini’s meeting with coalition leaders and KDH, Prime Minister Robert Fico proposed addressing foreign policy issues at regular meetings of the top constitutional officials. Foreign policy discussions should focus on Slovakia’s membership in the EU and NATO, which he emphasized as inviolable. Andrej Danko and Matúš Šutaj Eštok, leaders of SNS and Hlas-SD respectively, also supported the notion that Slovakia's future lies within these organizations, calling for reforms in EU cooperation and security.
