Accused extremist Daniel Bombic released without restrictions

The Specialized Criminal Court in Pezinok has released Daniel Bombic, accused of extremism, rejecting the request for his pre-trial detention. He will be prosecuted without restrictions, not even requiring an electronic monitoring device. The prosecutor plans to appeal the decision, with the Supreme Court set to rule on the matter on February 6. Bombic was extradited from the UK to Slovakia under strict security measures and faces multiple charges, including support for extremist movements, distributing extremist materials, racism, cyber harassment, and unauthorized handling of personal data also known as doxxing.
