The police have launched criminal prosecution over several crimes of extremism committed by a group of masked individuals in Bratislava, according to Bratislava regional police spokesperson Michal Szeiff.
"Members of this group, based on media reports, were physically attacking mainly members of ethnic minority groups and committing illegal activities at several locations, mostly in the city of Bratislava," stated Szeiff.
He noted that the investigation continues.
It was Novy Cas tabloid daily that a few days ago first reported about the group of masked individuals, who were physically attacking unsuspecting people in the capital city. The group was posting videos of fights online and displaying neo-Nazi symbols on social media.
