Prime Minister Róbert Fico unveiled a draft proposal for constitutional amendments on Monday, January 27, addressing topics such as sex recognition, adoption rules, and educational content. Some of the key points include the recognition of only male and female sexes and restrictions on sex changes to serious cases. Adoption rights would be limited to married couples or close relatives in specific circumstances, such as grandparents after the death of both parents.
The proposal also stipulates that educational programs must align with the Constitution, with additional activities requiring parental consent. Equal pay for equal work between men and women would be guaranteed.
