Slovakia presents at BETT 2025 in London

Slovakia is participating for the first time this year at the prestigious BETT 2025 trade fair in London, which runs from Wednesday to Friday. Representatives from the Ministry of Education, Science, Research, and Sport of Slovakia are attending to showcase the country as a leader in digital education through the DigiEDU program. "Participation in the BETT fair is an important step in showing the world that we prioritize digital education," explained Minister Tomáš Drucker (Hlas-SD).

The global fair, celebrating its 40th anniversary, is one of the key events in educational technology, focusing on topics like artificial intelligence in education, critical thinking, and inclusive education. With around 30,000 participants from 130 countries, it offers an ideal platform for exchanging experiences and building partnerships in educational digitalization.

The DigiEDU program, which was launched last year, represents Slovakia's largest investment in educational digitalization, with a budget of more than 225 million euros, co-financed by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. The program aims to modernize education in primary and secondary schools, ensuring equal opportunities for all students through digital tools and educational software.

"Our priority is to prepare students not only to understand the advantages but also the risks of artificial intelligence and to use it responsibly and creatively," Drucker added.
