The average nominal monthly wage in Slovakia in the first quarter of 2013 reached 789 euro. It thus grew by 2.5 percent. The sector of information and communication activities paid the highest average monthly wage, followed by financial and insurance activities and the electricity, gas, and steam industry.
The lowest average nominal wage was in accommodation and food services, agriculture, and construction.
