At its weekly meeting on Wednesday, the Cabinet has approved a new Energy Policy of the Slovak Republic that is to replace the old one from 2008. It defines the main goals and priorities of the energy sector until 2035 with an outlook to 2050. As the Pravda daily writes, the Energy Policy for example envisages the construction of a new nuclear power plant in Jaslovske Bohunice.
