A German investor is heading to the industrial park in the eastern Slovak town of Krompachy and is planning to gradually open 162 jobs, with mayor of the town Iveta Rusinová announcing this publically on Tuesday.
“Today [Tuesday] we opened envelopes in a public contest. The German investor meets the criteria laid down by the town. It is a company that is already present in Slovakia; it manufactures components for the automotive industry. In Krompachy it plans to expand production”, said Rusinová. Krompachy has a population of 8,800 people and is well known for its mining history and Plejsy alpine ski centre.
