The northern Slovak village of Liptovská Teplička has received an award from the Environmental Ministry on being the top Slovak county of 2014.
It received the award for the successful restoration and preservation of historical landscape structures, namely terraced fields as landscape features in mountain natural conditions. Liptovská Teplička will represent Slovakia in the international competition Landscape Award of the Council of Europe.
