The Slovak banking sector supports the fight against tax evasion as the global forum, including Slovakia, adopted a new international standard for the automatic exchange of information in the area of taxes.
“Banks support Slovakia’s efforts in the fight against tax evasion and offer all assistance so that the implementation and execution of the system of automatic exchange of information were conducted without any problems,” said CEO of the Slovak Banking Association Ladislav Unčovský. One hundred and twenty-two countries and jurisdictions and the European Union committed themselves to the international standard for automatic exchange of information.
