Slovakia sends material aid to African countries hit by Ebola

On Wednesday Slovakia sent material humanitarian aid to African regions that were most seriously affected by Ebola worth €90,000 via the World Health Organisation (WHO). The aid, initiated by Foreign Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajčák, will be provided from the Interior Ministry's reserves.

“It includes tents, beds, blankets, lighting, towels, generators, sinks and toilets as equipment for field hospitals,” reported the ministry. Prior to that, Slovakia contributed €15,000 towards the fight against Ebola in Africa.
