Twenty-one carmakers showcasing, among others, 20 debuts are presenting their wares at the 21st annual Autosalon motor show that began in Nitra on Thursday, TASR learnt from head of the Agrokomplex exhibition centre Eduard Krcho on the same day. As part of the accompanying programme, a truck show, airbrush show, tuning and remote controlled trucks will be on display.
Visitors will also be able to take an exhibition ride on Citroën 2CV vintage cars as well as enjoy the adrenaline-filled event, the Mototv show 2014. “It (Mototv show 2014) will feature trail bikers as well as the best of the Slovak stunt riding scene. A madman's quad bike show featuring Richard Mošna from the Czech Republic will have its premiere in Slovakia”, said spokesperson for the exhibition centre Michala Mičíková. The list of the most compelling debuts include the Mercedes-Benz C Combi, which had its world premiere only a few days ago in Paris, as well as Renault, Citroën, Volvo, Jaguar, Range Rover, Opel, Subaru, Kia and Ford also showcasing new models in Slovakia at the event, set to run until Sunday.
