The minimum monthly wage in Slovakia should go up from €352 this year to €380 in 2015. This is an increase of almost 8 percent. The government approved this proposal at its regular weekly session on Wednesday.
The proposal was drawn up by the Labour, Social Affairs and the Family Ministry which claims that the minimum salary should ensure higher monthly income than the poverty threshold which is at €337 per month.
