Czech Finance Minister Andrej Babiš, who is of Slovak origin, has become the majority stakeholder in assisted reproduction clinics in Bratislava and Martin, sme.sk news website reported on Sunday.
Babiš bought the clinics via the Hartenberg Investment Fund, which administers his personal savings. Jozef Janov, head of the Hartenberg fund, didn't provide the exact cost of the stake, only stating that it amounted to several million euro. The daily noted that Babiš in a similar way recently assumed control over Slovak dietary supplement producers Imunoglukan and Pleruan.
