The network European Employment Services (EURES) brought 21,000 job offers from 1,400 European employers in 20 years of operation in Slovakia. The network aims to offer free services to jobseekers in the European Union (EU) and to European employers looking for labor within these countries. The Director General of the Central Office of Labour, Peter Ormandy explained that the advisers of this network have so far served half a million clients in Slovakia, of which over 180k are high school and university graduates. EURES offers help finding a job, provides information on the European market or financial support for labor mobility. It also offers jobseekers access to verified job offers from all over Europe, as well as advice on the free movement of people, living and working conditions in European countries, or financial assistance when moving to another EU country.
