"We are expecting a '30 year' flood but we‘re taking measures as if it were a 100 year flood coming,” said Petar Lazarov from the Communication Department of Interior Ministry referring to the worrying situation caused by the rising Danube River.
The police have already closed some of the roads in the Bratislava city borough of Petržalka. Moreover, after 6 pm all transport on the river will be halted.
