Motorways, expressways and bypasses as well as railway connections to neighboring countries were included among a handful of strategic investments the government approved. There are sixteen projects in total which were designed by the Ministry of Transport. Combined the value of these projects exceeds fifty million euros. To propel the projects, the government used a new law for the first time, which allows easier expropriation and shortens the issuance of permits.
