The 12th annual 'Proud of Family' march will take place on Jakubovo Square in Bratislava on July 20, the event's organiser Anton Chromik informed TASR.
This year's theme is 'Matrimony Protects Children'. Discussions, concerts and contests are prepared for its visitors.
"The event's mission is to spread across Slovakia the joy that family and matrimony can give to children and spouses to each other; to show that children need the love of mom and dad more than material things; to encourage people in Slovakia not to deprive their children of the most valuable thing - the presence and love of their parents; and to encourage them to overcome the difficult things that occur in families," said the event's organisers.
Chromik said that the event will start at 3 p.m. with a gathering at Jakubovo Square and continue with a march through the Slovak capital.
