Slovakia will spend $1.5 million (USD) in Afghanistan by 2017 to support the country's army, according to Deputy Foreign and European Affairs Minister Peter Javorčik. Slovakia should also send a maximum of 66 servicemen in two rotations per year to the NATO mission entitled Resolute Support. The main task of the Slovak servicemen will be training and assisting the Afghani military.
