The Labour and Social Affairs Ministry proposes to increase the amount of per diem rates. It is an allowance that a company additionally pays to an employee on a business trip.
The per diem rate in the case of a business trip lasting 5 to 12 hours should go up from the current €4 to €4.20 per day, while in the case of business trips lasting from 12 to 18 hours it should be hiked from the current €6 to €6.30 per day.
