Juraj Priputen will be the new ambassador of the Slovak Republic in the Vatican. Foreign Minister Juraj Blanar explained that in international relations, the Holy See is involved in areas that touch on several topics besides Christianity. For example, the rejection of war, the support of peace, the protection of human dignity and human rights, or the prohibition of the death penalty. Juraj Blanár also informed about the sending of the new ambassador of the Slovak Republic, Pavel Vízdal to Ukraine. Blanár explained that the war conflict in Ukraine is Slovakia's most acute foreign policy and security challenge. "Our priority concerning this issue remains providing humanitarian aid, support for a peaceful solution and the earliest possible end to the conflict," he added.
