De Jong Slovakia plans to invest €63.09 million to build a new plant for the production of stainless steel water tanks for heat pumps in Presov.
The company applied for investment aid in the form of income tax relief amounting to €11.42 million for this purpose. The sum has been approved by Finance Ministry in full, according to a proposal for provision of investment stimuli submitted by the Economy Ministry for interdepartmental review.
De Jong intends to implement its investment plan between 2024 and 2026 and spend the money to buy machinery, devices and equipment. It plans to create 150 jobs in connection with the investment by the end of 2028.
