Slovaks elect their representatives in the European Parliament for the fifth time. Several thousand police officers will provide security during the elections to the European Parliament. In addition to patrolling the streets, they will also keep an eye on polling stations. Specially trained staff will also be on hand to carry out pyrotechnic searches on the premises where the elections will be held. The EP elections in Slovakia are held on Saturday (June 8). The final results of the elections in Slovakia will be published on the volbysr.sk website after 11 p.m. on Sunday (June 9). Twenty-two parties and one coalition are running in these elections. Slovaks will elect 15 MEPs for a five-year term.
