In preparation for the European Parliament (EP) election, the Statistics Office carried out three successful tests of the processing of election results, the authority told TASR, adding that all three tests confirmed the functionality and reliability of the Integrated Election Information System (IVIS), which is the main tool for summarising the results of all elections in Slovakia.
"The checks of the work in the IVIS system as well as of the communication networks, together with security measures, are the most important part of the quality preparation for the election night," said spokeswoman for the Statistics Office Jana Morhacova.
