Slovak extremist banned by YouTube

Internationally prosecuted Slovak extremist Daniel Bombic, known online under the nickname Danny Kollar, got banned on his YouTube channel as of Sunday (June 2). This was pointed out by journalist Martin Hodás on his Facebook page Na druhom brehu – Slovensko a dezinformácie, where he spreads awareness about hoaxes and misinformation. "He lost not only 79,500 subscribers, but also a source of income, because his loyal fans paid him for memberships, thanks to which, for example, they could comment live during his streams," said Hodás, adding that the cancellation of the account is permanent. Daniel Bombic faces prosecution in the Slovak Republic for extremism, defamation and online harassment. Well-known politicians also appeared on his channel, for example the Interior Minister Matúš Šutaj Eštok. Google confirmed to SME portatl that it had deleted "Danny Kollar's" channel "due to a violation of YouTube's policies,” but did not further specify.
