Deputy Prime Minister Robert Kaliňák and Prime Minister Robert Fico support Andrej Danko in becoming the new speaker of the Parliament. As Kaliňák stated in an RTVS political debate, Danko as a former Parliamentary speaker would bring stability to the coalition. According to the coalition agreement, this position belongs to Hlas-SD party, previously lead by Pellegrini. According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the personal agreement means more than written statements. They should come to agreement after the upcoming elections to the European Parliament. On Monday, Robert Kalinak also informed that Prime Minister Robert Fico continues in his recovery at home.
