After Romania and Lithuania, Slovakia has the third highest proportion of private housing among the EU member states, reaching 90.2%. As UniCredit Bank further informs in its analysis, 82% of the population of the Slovak Republic lives in their own home without a credit. Only 8.2% of Slovaks live in homes burdened by a loan.
