The Daffodil Day fund-raising effort, organised by the League against Cancer, has posted its highest yield in 28 years this year, amounting to €1.2 million, the league's PR manager Petra Benczyova has informed TASR, adding that the final sum will grow further. The league implements free projects for cancer patients and people close to them from the money collected each year.
