Opera singer Ľubica Rybárska died on Tuesday at the age of 65. In the years 1983 - 2013, she was a member of the ensemble of the SND Opera, where as a soloist she studied a whole range of characters from the soprano repertoire. In 1988, she won the Luciano Pavarotti International Singing Competition in Philadelphia (USA). That's when her career began to develop rapidly, especially with an invitation to collaborate with the Philadelphia Opera, where in April 1989, together with Pavarotti, they performed in a performances of Verdi's opera Luisa Miller. This opened her way to important world opera stages in Zurich, Paris, Madrid, Munich, Turin, and Rome.
