The construction company Vahostav-SK has asked the court for protection from creditors. It aims to avoid bankruptcy by restructuring. As the company informed on Friday, it failed, even after complicated negotiations with several creditors, to definitively agree with them on repaying their claims, with creditors are pushing the company into bankruptcy instead.
The Hospodárske Noviny business daily found out that CEO of the company Ján Kato resigned from his post. Two sources close to the company have confirmed this for the daily.
