Nominal monthly salaries in all sectors of the economy posted year-on-year (y-o-y) growth in February 2024, with three of them showing double-digit growth. The Statistics Office reported on Friday, adding that nine sectors also saw increases in real salaries.
The average nominal monthly salary grew in transport and warehousing by 13 percent, in industrial manufacturing 12.6 percent and in accommodation 10.9 percent. Real monthly salaries grew from almost 4 percent in the wholesale and construction sectors up to over 9 percent in transport and warehousing. Real-salary growth of over 9 percent was last reported in January 2023 in the sector of accommodation.
