The police are warning about fake text messages pretending to be Slovak Post. The scammer´s goal is to get payment card data. The Police drew attention to this issue on their social media. Scammers threaten that "the package will not be delivered because the street number on the package is missing" or that "the package is already in the warehouse, but the address is unclear on it". In the previous days, the police also recorded fake text messages pretending to be from the transport department. The scammers hope that people will click on the link created by them, which will resemble a payment gateway, the police warned.
