The fate of Slovakia matters to us. It has shown that we are not indifferent to our future, said Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová after the publication of the almost complete results of the first round of the presidential elections.
She congratulated both advancing candidates Ivan Korčok and Peter Pellegrini. She thanked the citizens for their participation and for the peaceful conduct of the elections. "I very much wish that the campaign before the next round will be fair, correct and sophisticated," the Head of State concluded.
