Slovak beekeepers won the most prizes at the latest World beekeeping congress, called Apimondia, held in Chile in September. The results only just came in, said Jana Holéciová, spokeswoman of the Slovak Chamber of Agriculture and Food. “The experts carried out lengthy and precise laboratory tests, which took several months to evaluate.” Slovakia was named the most successful country in the world at Apimondia.
