The Prosecutor-General's Office has dropped the charges against a former head of the Slovak Intelligence Service (SIS) and a former head of the National Security Bureau. It did so under section 363 of the Criminal Procedure Code, which allows the General Prosecutor to overrule lower prosecutors.
The two men were accused of belonging to a criminal group that tried to frustrate investigations into corruption cases.
